Spring Dawn, Silent River
Wahta River - Gibson First Nations, Ontario - 2006

A silent scene that is simple yet elegant. I took this photograph in the early spring of 2006 with traces of frost still on the ground and the mist slowly rising off the Wahta river. The sun was just peeking above the tree tops and beams of light were penetrating through the mist. With the exception of birds, the scene was totally silent and says volumes about the beauty of the Ontario landscape. This picture is one of my favorites.
